Last night was the opening night of a local vintage fair. I went last time and it was really busy, really hot, really crowded and really expensive. This time, I was pleasantly surprised. Seems the recession has hit overpriced vintage sellers too.
Here's a few shots of what was on offer...
And here's what I came home with:
A great old suitcase (which will come in handy for the move to Melbourne)...
A cute top and some 60's dresses...
Some 50's floral numbers and 2 deadstock bullet bras!
All for the recession - friendly price of $50! yay.
$50 for ALL that? holy moley. You have some luck - I wish the vintage fair I was just at was that cheap.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great deal for so much prettiness! Looks like it was a lot of fun.

Wow looks like you did well! We had a similar vintage fair in Auckland a few months back and it was pure heaven!
ReplyDeleteDamn! I wish I went.
ReplyDeleteI wish we had vintage fairs here! Gah, I would die for those bullet bras.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment! I made those animations in adobe image ready if I remember correctly. My brother taught me how.
ReplyDeleteGosh, I wish I was 32B more like a 34E (if you had one of those I would be happy to buy ;D).
Oh my goodness I'm soo jealous!! Those dresses are unbelievably beautiful! Bullet bras are on my wish list too - although I'm not sure if they make them in my size :>
ReplyDeleteLove the blog,
xx
