I'm Alive. And in Ballarat at 6am?

Sorry for the extended absence! I have been really busy. Captains got a lovely 3 page spread in Vogue Living, which has made work pretty hectic. And I've been making and doing and generally working hard.

So, The "Fridge" Swap meet was on this morning in Ballarat, a one and a half hour drive from where we live. We got up at 4:30am (cold) and drove to the multi storey concrete carpark where the swap was being held. Nicknamed "The Fridge" for good reason - it was 1 degree celcius when we arrived! I got a sweet old fan and some vintage magazines. (Pictures to come...)

We found the prettiest graveyard yet...

And...Horses!

I wore my warmest, no fuss vintage, including these woollen British Airforce Trousers.

Enjoy your weekend!

  3. Looks like you had a lovely field trip! You found a wonderful place to photograph, the wool trousers you wore work well with the horse (seems like something you'd ride in).

You're lucky there are still flea markets in the winter, all outdoor vintage events in Chicago hibernate come Autumn.
