New Toy!



My friends Ben and Sarah donated this fine piece of machinery to my sewing arsenal.


































It's a Singer 96K49, made in 1951.
Should come in very handy for a super secret project I'm working on...

  8. I used to hate Home Ec class when we had old pedal Singers. Now I would die to have my own. Ironic! I love how your blog shows the transformation of cloth and pattern into a dress. I wish I could do it myself. :)
